Cornelius and Huntersville Parks and Recreation Departments have changed their senior softball league's name to recognize Ralph Lambert, who played a vital role getting senior softball established in the Lake Norman area. The purpose of the Lake Norman Senior Softball league is to promote physical fitness among adults, both men and women, 50 years of age and older. The league welcomes all skill levels and is a great way to have fun, get exercise and meet some new friends. The spring softball league will consist of a ten-game regular season with a tournament at the end of the season. All games will be held at Torrence Chapel Park.
