Therapeutic Recreation Programming

A variety of fun programs are available to children with special needs. The focus is ABILITY not disability! Therapeutic Recreation uses treatment, leisure education and recreation participation to help people with illnesses, disabilities and other conditions to develop and use their leisure in ways that enhance their health, functional abilities, independence and quality of life.  Join in the fun for a variety of activities in Cornelius, Davidson and Huntersville. Financial assistance is available to residents of Cornelius, Davidson and Huntersville.  Click here for information regarding TR programs for adults (ages 16 and up).
