Pre-Registration Required: February 1- 18, ONLINE or at Cornelius Town Hall

All players will be grouped according to experience. 

Pitchers- Pitchers will work on fundamentals, proper mechanics, and warm-up drills. Experienced pitchers will also learn how to increase speed, power, and accuracy.
Catchers- Catchers will work on fundamentals, stance, receiving, framing, drop & blocking, pop flies, bunt pick-ups, throw downs, pick offs and pop times measured.
Hitting- Fundamentals of a good hitter, tee work, coach pitch, and breakdown of the swing will be covered and reviewed.
Bunting- Learn the fundamentals of how to bunt, bunt placement, drag bunt, and push bunt.
Base Running- Base Runners will learn how to run bases, take signs, take leads, dive back to the base, and slide.
Infield- Infielders will work on fielding ground balls, throwing techniques, base coverage, bunt coverage, and slap coverage, including situational play.
Outfield- Outfielders will work on catching fly balls, throwing techniques, backing up fielders, and diving and sliding for catches, including situational play.

Coaches- Learn the fundamentals of coaching, including preparation for a practice, making practice plans, player warm-up drills, keeping a practice moving with no down time, balancing offense and defense in a practice session, types of drills to work on in practice, and how to work give effective player feedback.

Participants will need to bring their own lunch, snacks and/or drinks. None will be provided.
